OnePlus 7 Pro to have QHD+ HDR10+ display, 3x optical zoom and UFS 3.0 storage

With all the official and unofficial leaks and teasers we have seen so far, we pretty much know what to expect from the upcoming OnePlus 7 Pro which will be launched on May 14 in various countries.
The OnePlus 7 Pro is shaping up to be a true flagship in almost all ramifications except for the lack of the wireless charging which the company claims it is skipping because it's not fast enough. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau said that on top of the QHD+ resolution and the 90Hz refresh rate, the phone's screen would also support the HDR10+ standard.

According to him;
"HDR10+ is the future of not just television displays, but also smartphone displays as well. We hope that our newest device will set a new benchmark for the smartphone industry and open up a new world of visual fluidity for users. We're glad we are leading the ranks in sharing quality technology with the world."The regular HDR10 standard tops up at 1,000 nits of spot brightness while the HDR10+ goes up to 4,000 nits which is a massive 3,000nits difference. The Samsung Galaxy S10 series is the first set of smartphone with the HDR10+ rating.
The OnePlus 7 Pro is expected to come with a triple rear camera setup and one of the camera lens will be used for a 3x optical zoom. It will also have a retractable front facing camera in other to achieve the all screen bezeless display. The phone is now up for pre-booking in India, and it is slated to retail for ₹49,999 ($725) in the country once it goes on sale next week. While other markets will have to pay $749 for the device.
