WhatsApp by default shows your last seen which means anyone you are chatting with can easily check if you are online or not, as well as even know the last time you were online. However, not everyone is okay with this especially for privacy related reasons.

The good thing is that WhatsApp provides users with the option to customize thier last seen status by either making it visible to everyone, just contacts or you can completely disable it so that no one can view your WhatsApp online status.

>> Launch WhatsApp and click on the 3 dots at the top right corner.

>> Tap on settings.

>> Click on account.

>> Then click on Privacy.

>> Tap on last seen and select either contacts or Nobody, depending on your preference.

>> That's all.

How to Disable or Turnoff WhatsApp Last Seen on iPhone.

>> Launch WhatsApp and click on “Settings” in the bottom bar.

>> Click on Advance.

>>> Tap on Last Seen Timestamp and turn it OFF.
