Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ Plus, Full Specifications and Price to be Announced on 25th of February

It's another new year and another season for unveiling of the newest smartphones with the latest feature and most awesome specs. As always, Samsung is one for the brand to look out for and the company has already started sending out press invitation for its next upcoming flagship which is the Samsung Galaxy S9.

According to the invitation, the Samsung Unpacked event which is the unveiling event will take place on the 25th of February and that's just a day before the WCM Trade show in Barcelona kicks off. 

Of course, the upcoming Galaxy S9 is expected to feature some new features and improvements from its predecessor. One of the new features is the variable aperture which will allow users to switch the 12MP rear camera between f/1.5 and f/2.4 depending on the situation. Samsung is also planning to add a Super slo-mo video capability at 480fps at 1080p FHD which actually tops last year's 240fps at 720p HD.

Both the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. The Samsung Galaxy S9 will spot a 5.8-inch Super Amoled display with a 3000Mah battery while the S9+ on the hand will come with a  6.2-Super Amoled display with a larger 3500Mah battery.
