ZTE Axon 7 to Receive Android 8 Oreo Update soon

The ZTE Axon 7 smartphone was launched last and shipped with android 6.0 but although the device was later upgraded to android 7.1 Nougat, latest report has it that the smartphone will receive one more major upgrade which is the android 8 Oreo.

This is actually an official report from the Chinese manufacturer. So if you happen to own a ZTE Axon 7 then you are in for luck as the update will start rolling out anytime soon. Below is the official statement from ZTE;

We are announcing now that we are already developing Android 8 for the Axon 7, your positive feedback has been inspiring us a lot and made us very happy and because of this we try to get it customer ready as soon as possible for the best customers in the world, and I ask for your understanding because we still need some time to perfect it.

Although ZTE promises that the official Oreo update will be a available for Axon 7 users soon, we really don't know how soon because there is no official date yet. So expect the update maybe later this year or early next year.
