Nokia 6 Devices have Started Receiving the Android 8 Oreo Update Beta Build - Here's how to Upgrade

Nokia came back to the smartphone market this year under a Chinese company, HMD. Nokia has managed to launch few android powered Smartphones which covers the low end, mid range and high end category.

When Nokia launched its smartphones early this year, the company made some promises, one of them was that all of its android powered smartphones down to the Nokia 2 will receive at least two major upgrades, the company also said that it will try to roll out the android 8 Oreo update to its devices as early as December this year.

Nokia has already started keeping to its promises as two of its smartphones which are the Nokia 8 and Nokia 5 has already started receiving the Android 8 Oreo beta build. 

Now, HMD's Chief Product Office, Juho Sarvikas,has announced via his Twitter Handle that the Nokia 6 has been added to it's android Oreo beta program which means that all Nokia 6 users who might want to try our the early build of the android Oreo can do so now.

Note that the current Oreo version available for the Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 are still in the beta stage, so you are only advised to go ahead with the upgrade if you don't mind the instability and minor bugs, or you can just wait for the stable version which will be released probably sometime next year.
