HTC U11 Might Receive the Android 8 Oreo Update by November of this year

The latest Android OS version which is the android 8 Oreo was announced in August of this year 2017. Aside Google's own smartphones, some other brands that were expected to receive the new update the next month were also mentioned and this includes Nokia, HTC and a few others.

Base on reports, it's almost certain that the HTC 11 will be the first HTC device to receive the Oreo update and the update is also expected to roll out before the end of this year 2017.

Our guess might probably be good as right as HTC leaker LlabTooFeR just reported that the HTC U11 Android Oreo update is about to reach final stages of the development, so chances are the Taiwanese company will release it in November or early December. So this means that the Oreo update for the U11 smartphone might still happen this year.

By the way, don't forget that HTC is currently preparing for the unveiling of its latest flagship which is the U11+ and the event will take place on the 2nd of November this year 2017. Although the device is also expected to go on sale this year, its not certain if it will run the android 7 Nougat or Android 8 Oreo out of the box.
