Android 7.0 Nougat Update Rolling Out To Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge

Following weeks of beta testing, Samsung has finally begun rolling out the official Nougat update for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. This is actually coming earlier than the proposed January 17th release date.
Those who are on the beta program have already started receiving the update notification and it's just about 215mb. Of course, if you are not on the better program, your update file is definitely going to be larger than that and the update is expected to roll out to other users pretty soon.

Also, contrary to what I mentioned in what of my previous post, this new update is actually to android 7.0 Nougat and not 7.1.1 as many people thought.
The Nougat update for Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge is expected to feature over 20 new features and improvements which includes ability to create App shortcuts for default Samsung apps, multi-window mode, ability to change the native screen resolution when not needed and also the messaging app now allows you to classify texts by threads and contacts.

As I said earlier, this update is currently rolling out to just the beta testers at the moment but it's definitely going to roll over to everyone pretty soon.
