Vivo S15 Pro Full Specifications and Price

 The first Smartphone in the Vivo S15 series which is the Vivi S15e was announced last month, Now Vivo has just added two new devices to the list which are the Vivo S15 and the Vivo S15 Pro. 

The Vivo S15 Pro is powered by Mediatek Dimensity 8100 chipset with a cooling system which Vivo claims is Gaming Grade and can lower the phone chipset's temperature by up to 1.2°C. The phone is also coupled with the Mali-G610 MC6 GPU. It runs on OriginOS Ocean based on Android 12.

The phone comes with Samsung's 6.56-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,376pixels and19.8:9 aspect ratio. The display can reach a peak brightness of 1,500 nits, with perfect color calibration and support for HDR10+. The display also has 120Hz high refresh rate with touch sampling of 300Hz, which can also boost to up to 1000Hz.

The Vivo S15 Pro features a triple rear camera setup which consists of the primary 50MP Sony IMX766V sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and an f/1.9 aperture., It also has a 116 degree 12MP ultra wide-angle lens which also doubles as a macro camera with close focus of 2.5cm/1inch, the third sensor on the back is a 2MP depth sensor. In the front is a single 32MP selfie camera housed in the punch hole cut out.

The phone is packed with a 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support which Vivo claims can get the phone from zero to 70% charge in just 18 minutes and to 100% in 35 minutes, while still maintaining optimum temperature. It also has an optical under display fingerprint reader.

The Vivo S15 Pro is already available for Preorder in China with sales expected to start on May 27. It will be available in Blue and Black color options. As for the pricing, the base configuration with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage will start at CNY 3,400 which is around $505/€480/₹39,000, while the 12GB RAM version goes for CNY 3700. None of the two versions supports expandable storage.
