Xiaomi MIUI 13 officially launched, list of devices to receive the update

 Xiaomi has finally launched the next iteration of its custom version of Android which is the MIUI 13. The new MIUI 13 by Xiaomi is the successor to the MIUI 12.5 which was launched late last year. The new version of MIUI comes with a couple of new features as well as improvements. 

Some of the changes in the new MIUI 13 includes the enhanced security, which  features the facial recognition which records not just the face but every part of the body from the waist up, the watermark reading of the user’s ID, and the new “electronic fraud protection” which helps detect fraudulent contacts or malwares through its database of websites and suspicious contacts.

Other features of the MIUI 13 includes the new Font called Means, which is the simplified version of the Sans- Serif font. Xiaomi has also redesigned the widgets with a better grid alignment just like on the latest iOS and there are also new wallpapers introduced.

The Early version of the MIUI 13 is already available on some new devices, while the beta version is also available  and Xiaomi has also promised to kick off the roll out of the stable MIUI 13 based on Android 12 later this month.
