How to link your NIN (National Identification Number) to your Airtel SIM card number

Instructions have been given to all network providers by the Nigerian Communication Commission NCC to block all SIM cards not synchronized with a valid NIN by the end of December 2020.

What this means is that every SIM card phone number not linked with a national identification number (NIN) by the end of this year will be disconnected from the network. Now all network providers have now started releasing information and guides on how to easily go about linking your phone number to your NIN.

If you haven't gotten your NIN yet, it is important you do that first by visiting any local government secretariat office closest to you. You can also get more information by clicking on this link.

MTN and Glo have already released information on how to go about linking your NIN to your phone number and I habe posted it on the blog. Now, Airtel has just done the same thing. Below is the the straightforward guide.
