Full list of Samsung Galaxy devices eligible for three major Android OS update

Samsung doesn't really have a good reputation when it comes to software updates. While other smartphone manufacturers like Apple promises up to 5 major update on the iPhones, and Google gives up to 3 major update on the pixel, most Samsung phones are limited to just 2 major Android OS update.

That might however be changing soon as Samsung announced at the recent Galaxy Note 20 series launch event that both the Galaxy Note 20 and the Note 20 ultra will be getting up to 3 major Android OS update support.

Samsung has now published the full list of its smartphones that are eligible for the three years major Android support. This includes all flagships from the S10 series, a couple of Galaxy A devices, the Galaxy fold and the Galaxy Z flip.

This is a very good news for Samsung users. Even though this doesn't guarantee timely update, at least users will be rest assured that their smartphones will be getting longer software support.
