OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro now receiving Android 11 Beta update

While some smartphone brands are still struggling to rollout the stable Android 10 update for their eligible smartphones, OnePlus has already kicked off the Android 11 beta program for two of its smartphones.

Google just recently kicked off the Android 11 beta program and as expected, the pixel smartphones are the first set of devices to receive the update. It however didn't take long before OnePlus jumped on the Android 11 Beta Developer preview program with its OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro.

Since this is still an early beta build, bugs and issues are almost inevitable. At the moment, below are some of the known bugs. 

OnePlus 8 / 8 Pro Beta Buile Issues / Bugs

• Face unlock is currently not working
• Google Assistant ("OK Google") does not work
• Video calling does not work
• Certain UI screens look less than desirable
• Some apps do not function as expected
• System stability issues
