Huawei P20 Pro and Mate 10 now receiving stable Android 10 (EMUI 10) update

Two more Huawei smartphones are now getting the Google Android 10 based EMUI 10 update, and they are the Huawei P20 Pro and the Huawei Mate 10.
The Huawei P20 Pro is a 2 year old flagship smartphone which was launched in 2018 with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, making this the second major update for the device. The Mate 10 Pro on the other hand was launched back in 2017 with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

The EMUI 10, Android 10 update for the P20 Pro has the build version number EMUI, while the Mate 10 has EMUI Both versions are pretty large as the P20 Pro update weighs in at 4.39GB, while the Mate 10 update is 4.59GB in size. So it's advisable you update with a strong WiFi connection.

The update has all the standard Android 10 features from Google like system wide dark more, better privacy control options, gesture navigation and many more. It also includes some EMUI 10 exclusive features like the new redesigned User Interface (UI) with new quick settings and notification panel, a new camera UI, a reorganized settings and many more.

As expected, the update is being rolled out in batches so it might take some time before it gets to all users. However, a couple of users in Asia and Europe have already confirmed receiving the new update on their devices.
