LG starts rolling out Android 10 update for the unlocked LG G8 ThinQ in the United States

Just like Samsung, LG is not known for releasing timely major Android update for its eligible devices and the case of the LG G8 ThinQ is not different.
Even though LG already kicked off the Android 10 update for the G8 ThinQ in November of 2019, the update was mostly limited to users in South Korea as well as Sprint and Verizon users in the US.
Now, the Android 10 update has started rolling out to unlocked LG G8 users in the United States. The update which has the version number G820QM20a weighs in at around 1.9GB in size. It is packed with all the new Android 10 features as well as a new UI and the latest January Android security patch.

The update is being rolled out via OTA and it's done in batches, so it will take some time before it gets to all users.
