Samsung releases Android 10 (One UI 2.0) schedule rollout date and eligible devices

Samsung is no doubt one of the major Android smartphone brands, but one thing the company isn't really known for is releasing timely updates for its eligible devices. This year's Google Android 10 is not any different.
While some brands like the OnePlus, Xiaomi and a few others have already started rolling out the latest Android 10 update to some of their eligible devices, Samsung is yet to start rolling out the update to it's devices.

Samsung has however just released the Android 10 (OneUI 2.0) release roadmap for its eligible devices in India and China. Going by the roadmap, the Galaxy S10 series is expected to receive the update in January of 2020 while the Galaxy A40s, Note9, Note10, and Note10+ 5G will get the Android 10 update in February 2020.

The Galaxy S9 and the S9+ will receive the update in March of 2020 followed by other eligible devices. However, the 2017 flagships which are the Galaxy S8, S8+ and the Note 8 won't be receiving the Android 10 update.

The roadmaps above are just for those in India and China only, for those in other regions, just check the notices section in the Samsung Members app..
