MIUI 11 released, List of Xiaomi and Redmi Phones to receive MIUI 11 Update with scheduled dates

Aside the Mi 9 Pro and the Mi Mix Alpha, one other thing that was announced at Xiaomi's recent event was the MIUI 11. Xiaomi's MIUI skin is the company's heavily modded version of Android with UI tweak and added features.

As expected, the new MIUI update is a major upgrade from the MIUI 10. It is based on the latest Android 10 firmware with a more pleasing and updated User Interface.  It also comes with the much awaited system wide Dark Mode as well as a couple of new features and improvements.

In terms of visual changes, the system font on the MIUI 11 is now Mi Lan Pro, users also get new wallpapers, animations as well as themes. One other visual change that was made to the MIUI 11 is the new enhanced AOD(Always on Display). 

Improvement has been made to the notification system, and the audio experience has been further improved to give users a natural sound effect. The file management document in the MI work suite has been improved to give users support for screen-casting as well as printers. It also now comes pre-installed with WPS office.

If you happen to be the type that travels a lot then you will definitely love the MI Go travel suite. You can use it to book ticket for train, airplane, bus or other transport systems. It also comes with currency conversion as well as a very effective power saving mode. There is also a new family guard app which gives you better control over your family by tracking where they are and also setting time restrain on certain App usage.

The public beta program of the MIUI 11 will kick off tomorrow September 27 while the full stable version will start rolling out in MId-October. Below is the list of Xiaomi and Redmi devices that are eligible for the MIUI 11 update as well as the scheduled roll-out date.
