Xiaomi's MIUI launcher to get App drawer and App launcher soon

The Poco F1 was launched last year with Xiaomi's MIUI skin on top, but unlike other Xiaomi phones running on MIUI, the Pocophone F1 comes with its own launcher which is called the Poco launcher.
The Poco launcher had a couple of differences when compared to MIUI launcher and one of them is the addition of app drawer.
Almost all Android smartphones comes with an app drawer included in the stock launcher except for a few like Xiaomi. On Xiaomi phones, all apps are scattered on the home screen and the only way to arrange them all in an app drawer is with the help of a third party launcher, but that might be changing soon.

Xiaomi has added an App drawer to its latest alpha build of the MIUI launcher, with version 4.10.6.1025-06141703. on this new version of MIUI launcher, users will be able to access the app drawer by clicking on the middle icon at the bottom of the home screen.

The App drawer will display recently used apps at the top while all other apps will be displayed at the bottom in alphabetical order. You can collapse the app drawer by clicking on the downward-facing arrow at the top and the app drawer can be closed by pressing the back button.

Aside the newly added app drawer, the MIUI launcher alpha build now also includes app shortcut. With this new feature, long pressing an app will bring up a quick action which will let users perform certain key tasks from an app directly from the app drawer.

The new MIUI launcher is still in alpha stage which means it's still in development stage and will go through a lot of refining before finally being rolled out to all users.
