OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5t to receive Android 10 Q update before the end of the year

OnePlus recently released an announcement where the company further reinterated that the latest Android Q will be rolled out to the OnePlus 5 and the OnePlus 5t. The company also added that the updates will be rolled out before the end of the year.

OnePlus also said that all the new software features that were introduced in the latest OnePlus 7 and 7 pro will be rolled to its older flagships as far back as the OnePlus 5/5t. This includes features like Fnatic Mode, Zen Mode, Screen Recorder, Quick reply in landscape mode, DC dimming, and RAM boost.

OnePlus has already started rolling out the Android Q beta build to the OnePlus 6/6t as well as the OnePlus 7 Pro, but the beta build might not be available for the OnePlus 5 and the OnePlus 5t.

There is no ETA as to when the stable please Q update will start rolling out to any of the three series, so we just have to wait for the official announcement.
