Huawei and Honor flagships to receive Android 10 Q update immediately after Google pixel phones

Huawei is no doubt one of the largest smartphone manufacturers in the world at the moment, but just like it's bigger brother Samsung, the company is not known for releasing quick Android major updates for its devices, but that might be changing this year.

Google's pixel smartphones are always the first set of Android devices to receive major Android OS updates and the reason for this is simply because this devices runs on stock android and they are also manufactured directly by Google. Now, Huawei has just made a big promise in its recent post on weibo that it will update it's flagship Huawei and Honor devices to Android Q immediately after the Pixel devices receives the stable Android Q update.

The list of Huawei and Honor flagship devices which are expected to get this quick updates includes the Huawei P30-series, Mate 20-series, Honor View 20 and Magic 2.

Looking at Huawei's track record and the fact that both Huawei and Honor devices run on the EMUI which is an heavily modded version of stock Android, this promise is really hard to believe. I guess we will just have to wait until then.
