The OnePlus 7 might feature No-Notch bezeless design with sliding mechanism

An image of what seems to be a prototype of the upcoming OnePlus 7 has just been leaked online. The image shows the top part of the alleged OnePlus 7 prototype alongside the current OnePlus 6t.

One of the noticeable difference between the two devices is the lack of notch or any form of bezel on the prototype device. If you remember, the OnePlus 6 was the first phone from OnePlus to feature a notch and it was later trimmed down to a much smaller water drop notch on the OnePlus 6t. Now it looks like OnePlus is finally getting rid of the notch on its upcoming OnePlus 7.

Since there is no notch or top bezel to house the front facing camera, OnePlus might borrow the sliding mechanism from its parent company Oppo. The Oppo Next S had a camera slider which hides the camera lens when not in use and pops it up when needed.

It won't be surprising if we find such in the next generation of OnePlus devices. The OnePlus 7 is expected to launch in may of this year which is still a couple of months away, so the prototype above might still go through a couple of changes before its final release.
