Xiaomi to Officially Announce the Mi Pad 4 and the Redmi 6 Pro on June 25

Xiaomi has just posted a teaser on its official Weibo account which confirms recent romurs that the Mi Pad 4 will  be announced very soon. According to the teaser, the upcoming MI Pad 4 will be announced on the 25th of June which is just 4 days away.

The Tablet is expected to sport a 7.9-inch Full HD LCD display just like its predecessor but with a much taller 18:9 screen aspect ratio. The Mi Pad 4 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's mid-range Snapdragon 660 chipset coupled with a 4GB RAM and a 64GB internal storage. It is rumored to be powered by a 6,000mAh battery with 5V/2A (10W) charging support.

In terms of camera, the new MI Pad 4 will to come with a 13MP rear facing camera and a front facing shooter with 5MP lens. It will also run on the latest MIUI 10 out of the box which will be based on the Android 8.1 Oreo OS. Although the device will be announced and launched in China first, it's expected to roll out to other markets afterwards.

Aside the MI Pad 4, Xiaomi also teased the upcoming Redmi 6 Pro which will be announced on the 25th of June also. The upcoming Redmi 6 Pro will feature a similar rear design as the Redmi Note 5 but a different front design which will house a top display notch and a bigger bottom chin.

The device is expected to feature a 5.84-inch full HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. It will also be powered by Snapdragon 625 chipset with Adreno 506 GPU. It will be available in three different memory variants which are 2GB RAM + 16GB internal storage, 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage. All three variants will support external storage expansion of up to 256GB via a microSD card.

In the camera aspect,the Redmi 6 pro will sport a dual rear camera setup with 12MP each as well as a front facing camera of 5MP. It will also run on MIUI 9 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The device is expected to come with a 4000mAh battery and will be available in Black, Blue, Gold, Gray, Pink, Red, Rose Gold, Silver and White color options.

Take note that the information above is based of leaks, rumored specs and official teasers. All official specs of the MI Pad 4 and the Redmi 6 Pro will be announced on the June 25.
