Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe (ZS570KL) Starts Receiving Android 8.0 Oreo Update in the United States

The official Android 8.0 Oreo update has started rolling out to the 5.7-inch Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe (ZS550KL). The update which was rolled out to the smaller 5.5-inch version of the Zenfone 3 Deluxe is now being rolled out to the larger 5.7-inch version.
The update comes with the standard Android 8 features as well as some other improvements. The update is expected to enable CHT VoWiFi and update the Privacy Settings. Asus has also removed some of the phone's apps to further improve performance such as Minimove, PhotoCollage, Do it late, TripAdvisor, Puffin Browser, and Kindle.

Below is the official ChangeLog;
1.Update to Android 8.0 Oreo.suggest to backup data before starting the software update.

2.After OS upgrade, launcher has some important changes- swipe up to all apps, all app icon could be changed.

3.Remove the following applications : Minimove,photocollege, do it later, TripAdivisor, Puffin Browser and Kindle.

4.Zenmotion will be default off after upgrade.

5.Privacy Setting update.

6.Enable CHT Vowifi.



Although Asus recommends that you backup your data before updating, you can choose to skip that. Also, don't forget to charge your phone and  also connect it to a strong WIFI network before you proceed with the update.
