Sony Rolls out Android 8.0 Oreo Update for Xperia XA1, XA1 Plus and XA1 Ultra

Sony has started rolling out the official Android 8.0 Oreo update to three of it's eligible Xperia smartphones. The devices which are the Xperia XA1, XA1 Plus, and XA1 Ultra have already started receiving the update but it might take a couple of days before everyone gets it as it's a staged rollout.

Sony didn't officially confirm the update neither did they release a ChangeLog, but one thing we know for sure is that the new update contains February Security patch.

This new update is 900MB in size so it's advisable to have at least 1gb of free space before downloading it. Also, make sure you have enough battery life as well as a strong internet connection before you proceed with the update.
