Samsung rolls out New Update for Galaxy Note 8 Users with Bug Fixes and January Security Patch

Samsung has just released another new update for the Galaxy Note 8 users. The update however focuses more on bug fixes and improvements, and doesn't really feature any new feature.

According to the ChangeLog released by Samsung, the new update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 comes with the latest Android January Security patch as well as fixes for 13 vulnerabilities found in Samsung's software and 6 Android-specific exploits. 

As always, the update is being rolled out in batches so it might take sometime before it gets to you. However you can manually check if the update is available by going to Settings > About Device > Software Updates. 

The update is just 707.5MB but it's advisable you have enough storage on your phone, as well as a strong WiFi network and a charged phone before you proceed with the update.
