Huawei Begins Android 8.0 Oreo Beta Testing Program for Huawei P10 and P10 Plus Users

Huawei has been working on rolling out the latest android 8 Oreo update to as many of its smartphones as possible. Not long ago, the Chinese company rolled out final Oreo update to Mate 9 and Mate 9 pro users. Now the company is planning on rolling out the update to last year's P10 and P10 plus users as it kicks off the Oreo beta program.

Huawei is already recruiting for the beta testing program for its last year's flagship. So Huawei P10 and P10 Plus users who will like to participate in the program and receive the early software rollout are free to do so now. The beta program is aimed at Huawei P10 and P10 Plus units with the following software versions: VTR-L09C432B180, VTR-L29C432B180, VKY-L09C432B181, and VKY-L29C432B181.

If Huawei is able to complete the testing and make the OS stable on time, then the final version might start rolling out as early as February which is next month. At the moment, the Oreo beta program has already started in Romania and it's expected to roll out to other countries soon.
