How to Obtain and Check the Registration Status of your Permanent Voter's Card (PVC) Online

The 2019 election is just around the corner and the preparation has began. This is another time for Nigerians to re-elect thier current leaders or elect a new one. For you to have a say in the upcoming election, you definitely need a permanent voter's card (PVC), So if you don't have one yet, then this is the time to register for one.

On April 27th 2017, INEC introduced a new system which will make the process of obtaining the permanent voter's card a lot more easier and convenient for qualified citizens. This will also make it possible for those who have registered for the voter's card check the status of their PVC to know when it's ready for pickup.

How to Register for the Permanent Voter's Card

>> After that, visit the registration center and apply for the Voter's card.

>> This process is free of charge.

How to Check if your Voter's Card is Ready
>> Just open your browser and go to http://voterreg.inecnigeria.org.
>> To check the status, fill the provided boxes with your Place of residence, Surname and last 7 digits of your VIN.

>> Incase you don't remember your VIN, just use the day, month, and year of registration to verify.
