Samsung Rolls out Fifth Android 8.0 Oreo Update for Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus Users

Samsung is definitely not the type to rush an update but if you happen to be the type who enjoys quality over quantity then you will really appreciate this approach as the company is trying to make the their OS as stable as possible before officially releasing the final version.
The Android 8 Oreo beta program is currently on for those Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ plus users who signed up for the program. Samsung has just released the fifth Android Oreo beta build update for S8 and S8+ plus users. This is more of bug fixes rather than new features. 


Below if the full ChangeLog of the bug fixes and improvements included in the latest update;
  • Profile sharing won't enable and keeps saying check network;
  • Home screen does not fit screen properly;
  • Phone restarting while using the camera;
  • Smart view doesn't seem to see LG TV;
  • YouTube app crashes phone causing it to restart;
  • Always on Display side clock and info no longer fits the home screen;
  • After connecting phone to USB and via Bluetooth at car and phone crashes;
  • Message app does not respond properly; it always hangs on exit;
  • Use a black theme, text cannot display complete;
  • Every time you hang up the phone, popup “Call ANR;”
  • Device restarted after calling on recent calls;
  • Galaxy Apps occurs unknown vibrations;
  • Video plays fast after connecting HDMI cable;
  • S finder run when push volume key on app tray;
  • Settings force closes when removing all registered fingerprints;
  • Samsung Account force closes whenever back up secure folder;
  • Bixby briefing doesn't work.

The update is actually 615MB so it's advisable you have a strong network connection, enough storage space and a charged device before you go ahead with the upgrade.
