LG V30 starts Receiving Stable Android 8.0 Oreo Update

When it comes to software update for the LG V30, LG is actually giving more priorities to users in its hometown over the global users. The android 8.0 Oreo beta update was available in South Korea for about 3 weeks before it was made available to global users.
Now, LG has started rolling out the stable version of the Android 8.0 Oreo to LG V30 users, and as expected the South Korean users are getting it first.

The stable android Oreo update is expected to roll out to V30 users in the USA and other regions very soon. According to LG, the company said it has listened to the over 500 enlisted beta testers and believe the OS update is stable enough for everyone.

According to chimed Lee Sang-kyu from LG Electronics Mobile, he said;
"We will provide a differentiated user experience with stable and complete software,"
Aside from the picture-in-picture and better standby battery drain management that comes standard with android Oreo, the update comes with some other new features like advanced app shortcuts, adaptive icons, and a brand new settings screen. For those who are not in South Korea and haven't received the update yet, it will roll out globally soon.
