The Nokia 6 Smartphone Now Has Over 1 Million Registration, Two Days Before Flash Sale

I guess those who are anticipating for the return of Nokia to the smartphone market are actually way more than we all expected. On the 12th of January, 2017, the Nokia 6 had over 250,000 registrations for Nokia's historic first flash sale, which is scheduled to take place on the 19th of January 2017.
Now, just about 5days later, the number of registration has gone up to around 1 million units. According to information coming from JD.com in China, the Nokia's Android powered smartphone is priced at the equivalent of $245.

The registration isn't really a pre-order as customers are not expected to pay for the phone in advance. The registration costs $9, which can be deducted from the cost of the handset by those who are able to purchase it in the flash sale. The actual number of handsets up for sale is expected to be lower than the number of registered customers. This is done in order to entice the buyers.

The Nokia 6 which features a 5.5 inch display is powered by snapdragon 430 octa-core processor and Adreno 505 GPU. In terms of memory, it has a 4GB RAM and a 64 GB ROM.
