Samsung To Unveil The Galaxy S8 on March 29th and launch it late April With a Starting Price of $849

According to information by Twitter user  @Ricciolo1, Samsung is planning to display the Galaxy S8 at WMC in Barcelona. However, the device might not be displayed publicly as Samsung is planning to show the new phone to only a few selected people at the event which will take place next month. This is similar to what Blackberry did the with the upcoming "Blackberry Mercury" at CES.

According to @Ricciolo1, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be announced on the 29th of March while the launch will be during the 17th week of this year, which runs from April 24th through April 30th. The source also claims that the starting price of the phone is expected to be around $849 or more.

According to rumored specs and speculations, The Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to feature a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display, with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The device will be powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset with an octa-core CPU and the Adreno 540 GPU. It's also expected to feature a 12MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera. We also could see a premium model with a larger 6.2-inch display called the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus.

We all know the Samsung Galaxy note 7 was a total disaster and this upcoming Galaxy S8 is Samsung's best shot at regaining their reputation. I guess we all just have to wait until the official launch.
