Samsung is now preparing to release new note 7 devices which will be a replacement to the ones that were recalled. According to Samsung Electronics Australia, replacement stock of the Galaxy Note7 smartphone will be available to customers through the operators and retailers in Australia from September 21.
Although the official announcement is just for Samsung customers in Australia only, the replacement for other countries might probably fall within the same period.
According to Samsung, they will resume selling the note 7 by October of 2016, probably after replacing all recalled devices.

From September 21, they will be contacted by their original place of purchase to have the collection or delivery of their new device coordinated.

Since all Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has a unique imei no, Once replacement Galaxy Note7 stock is available customers will be able to check their IMEI number on the online database that will be established on the Samsung Australia website
