Official: Google's Pixel Will Be Announced On The 4th Of October

After lots of speculated specs and leaked images, Google has officially announced through a teaser video that there will be a big launch on the 4th of October. The teaser video which was recently released on Google's official YouTube channel confims the fact that Google is going to be having an event on the 4th of October.

Although the video didn't give out much except the event date and the sketch of a mobile phone, it's believed that the main reason for the event is to officially announce the launch of Google's new smartphone Series which is the "pixel".

The pixel is the successor of Google's popular Nexus Series and two devices which we are expecting are the Pixel and Pixel XL. The device which are manufactured by HTC are set to debut as the first set of phones to be designed by the Company.

This new Google pixel duo wouldn't be as cheap as the Nexus as the Pixel XL starting price is said to cost as high as $649 while the smaller pixel will be just a little bit cheaper.
