 OnePlus is definitely one of the top smartphone manufacturers in terms of budget friendly smartphones. Even though OnePlus now competes in the high end market, their smartphones are still pretty competitive price wise compared to some of the other competitors.

Even though OnePlus smartphones do come with pretty great specifications and overall design, one area the manufacturer has always lagged is in terms of camera quality. The camera quality on the OnePlus 9 series has really improved a lot, but the same can't be said about the older devices like the OnePlus 7 series, OnePlus 8 series or the OnePlus 6 series.

The good news however is that there are compatible GCams for the OnePlus smartphones which really helps with the camera quality a lot. GCam which is the short for Google Camera is the stock camera App that comes with the pixel lineup of smartphones.

The Google Camera (GCam) App is responsible for the great camera quality that pixel smartphones are known for. This is a modded version of the App which is called  is compatible with the OnePlus 7, 7T, 7 Pro, OnePlus 8, 8 Pro, OnePlus 9, 9R, 9 Pro.

How to Install (Google Camera) GCam on OnePlus 6 / 6T Pro, 7 / 7T, 7 Pro, 8 / 8T/ 8 Pro, 9 / 9R / 9 Pro:

• If you have a different version of GCAM already installed, then it is advisable to uninstall previous version of GCam on your phone.
• Download the GCam App from the link below.
• Install and launch the App.
• For better performance, download and import the config file from the link below.
