Nokia rolls out Android 10 (Go Edition) update for Nokia 2.1

Nokia has always promised at least 2 years of software support for all of its devices including even the entry level smartphones. Even though the update roll outs do come up a bit late, they always deliver on that promise.

The Nokia 2.1 is the latest Nokia smartphone from the HMD lineup of Android smartphones. Even though Google is currently working on the latest Android 11 and stable launch is expected to commence soon, that doesn't stop Nokia from rolling out last year's Android 10 to all of its devices that are eligible.

HMD also confirmed that this update will first rollout to Asian countries mainly Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Thailand. Other regions are expected to get the Android 10 (Go Edition) update on the Nokia 2.1 on or before September 10th.
