The Xiaomi Mi A3 is Xiaomi's latest smartphone from the company's A series lineup of smartphones. The Mi A series devices from Xiaomi runs on pure vanilla Android operating system with little to no modification.
The Android One smartphones are supposed to get the latest version of Android quicker than most other devices as there are little to no modification or porting needed by the manufacturers. This has however not being the case with the Xiaomi Mi A3 smartphone as the latest Android 10 update wasn't released on time.

Xiaomi initially kicked off the Android 10 update for the MI A3 (Laurel) in the first week of March but the update was quickly put on hold as customers complained about different bugs from the update like fingerprint sensor not working, boot-loop, camera app crashing and many more.
