Xiaomi has shipped out over 4.5 million Redmi K20 (Mi 9T) units

Xiaomi launched the Redmi K20 and the K20 Pro earlier this year as it's 2019 flagship killer. While the K20 was powered by the top mid range Snapdragon 730 chipset, the K20 pro is powered by the top of the line Snapdragon 855 chipset.
The Redmi K20 Series has been successful so far and this is mainly due to how Xiaomi managed to combine top of the line specs with an affordable price tag. According to Xiaomi, the Redmi K20 series also known as the Mi 9T has been successful so far.


It's just about 6 months since Xiaomi officially launched the Redmi K20 series and the company has already managed to ship over 4.5 million units. The announcement was made at the official unveiling of the Redmi K30 which is the successor to the Redmi K20. Redmi was able to ship more than 200,000 units of the Redmi K20 within 2 hours of its launch and over one million units were sold within the first month.

The Redmi K30 was recently announced to succeed the K20. It comes in two variants which are the regular Redmi K30 and the Redmi K30 5G. The Redmi K30 is already on sale in China and expected to roll out globally soon while the Redmi K30 5G will be available for purchase by January of 2020.
