Full specifications and price of Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T in Nigeria, India, Europe
The Xiaomi Redmi note 8T is now official. The phone was announced alongside the Mi CC9 Pro in a recent event in China. It packs a very similar speciation and design as the Redmi Note 8 with just a few changes and upgrades.
The Redmi Note 8T sports a 6.3-inch Corning Gorilla glass 5 protected IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, a screen ratio of 19.5:9 and a pixel density of 409 ppi. It runs on MIUI 10 out of the box which is based on the Google Android 9.0 Pie. It is however upgradeable to the new MIUI 11.
The Redmi Note 8T is also powered by the same Snapdragon 665 chipset as on the regular Note 8. The phone is available in 3GB or 4GB RAM configuration as well as 32GB, 64GB or 128GB internal storage.
As far as camera goes, you get a quad-cam setup which comprises of a main 48MP F/1.8 main lens, an 8MP F/2.2 ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro cam and a 2MP depth sensor. In the front is a single 13MP camera.
The phone has a 4000mAh battery capacity which is enough to give the phone a pretty decent battery life. It supports 18W fast charging and NFC, both of which are not available on the regular Redmi Note 8.
The Redmi Note 8T is priced at €179 for the entry level 3/32GB version while 4/64GB version goes for €199 and the more premium 4/128GB version is going for €249. The phone will be available in Blue, White and Black color options. Sales are scheduled to begin on November 8 in Spain and Italy, followed by November 13 in France and November 15 in Germany.
