OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T starts receiving Android 10 update through OxygenOS Open Beta 1 update

As promised, OnePlus has started rolling out the Android 10 based open Beta 1 update for the OnePlus 6 and the OnePlus 6t. This is the first update for the OnePlus 6/6t that is based on the latest Google Android 10.
This is however still a beta update and it's also still in its early stage, so there will most likely be bugs. Also, if you happen to be on the OnePlus beta program before now, then you will receive the update via OTA. The update is currently only available to unlocked and non-carrier based version of the OnePlus 6 and the OnePlus 6t.

The Open beta 1 comes with a couple of new features like the new UI design, enhanced location permission, new screen gestures and many more.
Below is the full changelog.

To install the Open beta 1 Android 10 update for the OnePlus 6/6t, you will need at least 3GB free space and more than 30% battery. OTA will only be available for those already on the beta program while others will have to manually install the update.

As I mentioned earlier, this update isn't a stable one yet so users might experience a couple of bugs while using it. If you want to manually install the update or go back to previous version or Android, them click on this link for instructions on how to do that.
