The Xiaomi Redmi k20 and the Redmi k20 Pro has been officially launched in India

Xiaomi's 2019 flagship killer the K20 pro and it's cheaper/less spec variant the Redmi k20 have both been officially launched in India on July 17. This are currently the two most premium smartphones from Xiaomi's new sun brand Redmi.
Both phones sports a 6.39" AMOLED notch-free display with a resolution of  2,340 x 1,080pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 with pixel density of  402ppi. The screen is also protected with Corning gorilla glass 5.


The Redmi k20 pro is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 chipset with 6GB or 8GB RAM and a storage option of 64GB, 128GB or 256GB. The Redmi K20 on the other hand is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 730 chipset coupled with a 6GB RAM and a 64GB or 128GB internal storage.
For the camera aspect, the two phones come with triple rear camera setup which includes a primary 48MP sensor with f/1.8, an 8MP Telephoto lens with f/2.4, and a 13MP Ultra-wide with f/2.4. In the front is a 20MP motorized pop-up camera with f/2.2.


As far as pricing goes, the K20 will start at INR21,999 ($320/€285) for the 6GB/64GB model while the 6GB/128GB model will go for INR23,999 ($350/€310). The Redmi K20 Pro on the other hand will start at INR27,999 ($405/€365) for the 6GB/128GB version, while the more premium 8GB/256GB model will cost INR30,999 ($450/€400).

You can get the two phones in Flame Red, Glacier Blue, and Carbon Fiber colour options. Both phones will be available in India starting from July 22 and customers will be able to get them from Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores.
