WhatsApp limits message forwarding to just 5 Users

For some time now, Facebook has been working on tackling the issue of fake news on WhatsApp. Earlier this year, WhatsApp introduced a forwarding tag which lets WhatsApp users know when a message is sent directly or forwarded to them.

In July of this year, WhatsApp also limited message forwarding to just a maximum of 20 users at a time. Now latest report from popular WhatsApp tipster, WABetainfo has it that the forward limit has been further reduced from 20 users to just 5 users.

The 5 users limit for forwarded message has been available in India for quite sometime now, but WhatsApp has decided to implement the 5 user limit globally. This new adjustment will take effect, starting from the latest WhatsApp version.
