Lenovo Z5 Pro GT, Check out World's First Snapdragon 855 Smartphone with 12GB RAM and 512GB Storage

For some weeks now, there have been rumours flying around on which brand will be the first to launch a Snapdragon 855 powered smartphone. Contrary to reports and many people's belief, it's neither Samsung nor OnePlus but Lenovo.
Lenovo has just announced its latest smartphone which is the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT. The device is powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 chipset. Aside being the first smartphone to be powered by the chipset, it's also the first smartphone to come with a 12GB RAM.


The device sports a 6.4” Super AMOLED HD+ display with a resolution of  1080×2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The phone runs on Lenovo's ZUI 10.0 which is based on Android 9.0 Pie and it also has an in-display fingerprint reader.
The Z5 Pro GT has dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel Sony IMX519 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a secondary 24-megapixel Sony IMX576 sensor along with an f/1.8 aperture and dual-tone LED flash. It also has a 16 MP + 8 MP dual selfie camera setup.


The phone is powered by Qualcomm's most efficient Snapdragon 855 chipset which is based on the 7nmm process coupled with Adreno 640 GPU. You can get the phone with either 6GB or 8GB RAM coupled with a non-expandable 128GB, 256GB or 512GB internal storage option.

The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT packs a 3300mAh battery with USB Type C.  It also supports dual SIM dual standby with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS and NFC.

The phone comes in three different memory options which are 6/128 GB for CNY2,698 ($390/€340), 8/256 GB for CNY3,398 ($500/€440) and the premium 12/512GB which goes for CNY4,398 ($650/€560).
