How to Download Instagram Stories, Videos and Pictures on your Android Phone

Instagram is no doubt one of the most popular and fastest growing social media platforms on the web today. With Instagram, you can share your most favourite moments with family and friends in form of pictures and videos. Instagram however doesn't let you download this videos and pictures.

Even though there isn't an option to download Instagram videos and photos to your phone for offline viewing, there are a couple of third party apps that can get the job done for you. In this post, I will share a few of them as well as procedures on how to use them.

How to Download Instagram Videos and Pictures

1. Video Downloader for Instagram:

This app lets you download any Instagram video or picture just by copying and pasting the link. Using the app is pretty easy and straightforward.

How to use:

1. Download and install the app from Google Playstore or from this link.

2. Open your Instagram App and locate the video or picture you want to download.

3. Click on the three dots at the top right corner of the image or video to access the menu options.

4. Tap on "copy link".

5. launch the "video downloader for Instagram" app and click on paste.

That's all.

2. FastSave:

FastSave also works in a similar fashion, but unlike the first App I mentioned above, FastSave automatically grabs the link immediately you copy it without you having to paste it yourself.

How to use:

1. Download and install FastSave from Google Playstore or from this link.

2. launch the App and toggle on "FastSave service".

3. Open your Instagram app and locate the photo or video you want to download.

4 Click on the three dots at the top right corner of the image or video to access the menu options.

5. Tap on "copy link" and InstaSave will automatically start downloading.

3. GBInstagram:

This is not just a downloader like the first two apps I mentioned above. GBInstagram is a modded version of your Instagram App that lets you do everything you do on the official Instagram app and more.

With GBInstagram, you can download Instagram videos, pictures and stories. You can zoom in on any picture, you can customise your GBInstagram interface and so on.
