Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s Starts receiving Stable Android 9 Pie Update

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is now officially the first Xiaomi smartphone to receive the stable Android 9 Pie as the company starts rolling out the update. This was made known by the team behind MIUI via the official Twitter page.

Aside from the standard Android Pie features like Adaptive Battery, Adaptive Brightness and Digital Wellbeing for monitoring your screen time, the update also includes performance and AI improvements, some minor improvements in edge detection for the Bokeh photos and new notification sounds.

The update has already started rolling out to Mi Mix 2s units in China first before other regions. So it might take a few days before everyone eventually gets the update.
