Android 8.0 Oreo Update Starts Rolling out to Unlocked LG G6 and At&T Versions

The Android 8.0 Oreo update for 2016's LG G6 might have been very slow, but at least it's being released after all. Users of Verizon and Sprint LG G6 were the first to receive the Oreo update, but now, the update has finally started rolling out to both AT&T and the unlocked version of the LG G6.
The update is packed with some major improvements as well as standard Oreo features such as Picture in Picture support, new notification badges, and slightly resigned UI. While the owners of the unlocked LG G6 will receive the May security patch, At&T users on the other hand will get the April security patch.
The update has already started rolling out and users have started receiving the update notification. But incase you haven't gotten yours yet, you can manually check for the update by heading to the update menu in your phone's settings.
