OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3t Finally gets the Face Unlock feature Alongside OnePlus 5 through the latest OxygenOS Open Beta 30 Update

OnePlus introduced the Face Unlock alongside it's latest flagship which is the OnePlus 5t. The feature widely accepted and became popular that OnePlus had to introduce it to the OnePlus 5 and also promised to add it to the OnePlus 3 and 3t through a software update. 

Now the company has finally kept its promise as the Face Unlock feature has been included in OnePlus latest OxygenOS open BETA 30 update for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3t users. Aside the Face unlock, the new update also comes packed with some other new features and improvements which are listed below.

Launcher

1. Launcher Updated to v2.3;
2. Drawer categories;
3. You can see new categories when using the search icon in the drawer;
4. Auto folder tagging;
5. When you add applications that are similar, our system will help you automatically name the new folder you created;
6. Dynamic Icon for Clock;
7. The Clock icon is now dynamic;
8. Notification dot optimization;
9. The Blue notification dots present to notify you of a newly installed app will now be removed automatically after 15 days;
10. Launcher usage tips improved;
11. We’ve added some new helpful tips for first use of the launcher.

System

1. Support for Airtel VoLTE in India;
2. Face Unlock function added;
3. Added OnePlus Switch application for backup & restore;
4. We’ve added the new OnePlus switch app so moving your information to a new OnePlus device will be easier than ever;
5. Other bug fixes and optimizations.
