Asus ZenFone 4 to receive Android 8.0 Oreo update in December this year

Asus already confirmed that both the Asus Zenfone 3 and Asus Zenfone 4 will receive the latest android 8 Oreo update. Now Asus has further made another announcement that the midrange Zenfone 4 might actually be recieving the update sooner than we expected.

Earlier this week, Asus pushed out the ZenUI 4.0 to Zenfone 4 Max devices, now the company has officially announced that the regular Zenfone 4 will be getting the Oreo update later this month December. The exact date the update will start rolling out hasn't been announced yet.

Although more Asus Zenfone devices are expected to also receive the update, but aside the Zenfone 3 and Zenfone 4, we can't confirm which other device will get the update. Also, any other Asus smartphone aside the Zenfone 4 will probably have to wait until next year before getting the update.
