Airtel Officially Stops the Unlimited Data Package, Check out the new Alternative

Few months ago, Airtel launched a new exciting data plan mainly for the heavy internet users and it was called the Airtel Unlimited Data Package. The package which was divided into 3 lets you browse and download unlimitedly for a whole month (30 days) but your speed actually gets throttled after you have used a certain amount of data depending on the plan you are on.

Now, Airtel has announced that the Unlimited 10, 15 and 20 which goes for N10,000, N15,000 and N20,000 respectively were actually promos and it has finally come to an end.

Even though the promo is over, the codes are still valid but this time around the unlimited 10, 15 and 20 will now give you 20GB, 30GB and 40GB respectively for the same rate. But no more throttled benefit so once you exhaust your data, you won't be able to browse at all until you resubscribe again.

For those who still have a current Airtel Unlimited Data Package running, you will be able to enjoy it until it expires but after that, you won't be able to subscribe for the unlimited plan anymore. Also, now you can easily check your data balance just by dialing *140#.
