MTN Giving Out Free 1GB Data to Some Selected Numbers. How to Get Yours
MTN started giving free 1GB Data to some random subscribers and the free data is valid for a week (7 days). This means that you can only get the data if MTN selects your number.
The good thing is that if your number is not one of the selected MTN numbers, you can still try and activate the MTN free 1GB Data.
How to Get The MTN Free 1GB Data
Either you received the message from MTN or not, just dial *449*2# on your phone to try and Activate the free data.
In less than a minute, you should receive a message just like the one below.
"Congratulations! You have been gifted FREE 1GB data, valid for 7 days, to surf the internet. Dial *449*2# to activate your offer. Deal Zone
Note: Dialing the code above will also automatically migrate your SIM to MTN deal zone.

I'm currently on MTN xtra special tarrif plan n got d message above but activation failed despite dialing x449# n followed by 2 several times. What are d advantages of Deal Zone tariff plan?
