The android OS comes with lots of option that lets you customize your device just the way you want.

The Do not Disturb option was introduced to android 5.0 lollipop and it's also available on newer Android OS versions. This option allows you to limit or completely silence notifications and alerts on your device.

Uses of Do Not Disturb
>> Automatically limit sounds at night or during events
>> Mute interruptions other than alarms, so you wake up on time
>> Get alerted to calls and messages only from favorite contacts

3 Ways to Limit Vibrations and Sound
Complete silence: This will completely disable sound and vibration, so that your phone does not ring or vibrate at all whenever you have a new notification.
Alarms only: This option will completely mute your notification sounds and vibration except the alarm. Also, your media sound such as music, videos, games and others will not be muted.
Priority only: This will mute all sounds except alarms, people, reminders, and events that you choose.

How to Use the "Do not Disturb" Option
>> Go to your phone's settings
>>Click on Do not Disturb (or in some phones, Notification >>Do not Disturb).
>>Navigate through the 3 options available and choose the one that suit you with settings.

That's all guys, note that some of the settings might be a little bit different, depending on the type of phone you are using.
