Sad! Cyanogen to suspend all services on December 31st

This is going to be a bad news for the lovers of CyanogenMod as cyanogen revealed in a press release few days ago that they will be suspending all of their services on or before the 31st of December 2016. And this also includes the nightly builds.
According to Cyanogen, the open source code will still be available for anyone who wants to work with it. Now the company's future allegedly lies in building add-ons for Google instead of replacing Google's open source OS.

Steve Kondik who happens to be one of the co founders of cyanogen has been taking about rebranding Cyanogen which is largely financed by crowd funding. There have been some unconfirmed story that the software repository in GitHub which is named " lineages android distribution" is actually one of cyanogen's new reorganization.

If you guys can recall, cyanogen's first release which was the version 3.1 was way back in 2009 and at the moment, the company currently has over 50million users who are running the CyanogenMod on their android device. Even at the moment, the company already has CM14.1 which is based on android version 7.1 Nougat.
